This is the the first post from the WWE blog that will bring you everything you need to keep up to date with all things WWE.
Where better to start than with the return of the jabroni beating, pie eating, trail blazing, eyebrow raising, step of the brake, put your foot on the gas, always ready to whoop some ass, the peoples champ, THE ROCK!
I admit, watching the return of the Rock I had goosebumps, I haven't watched anything more entertaining than that in years, not just in the WWE but in ALLLL OF ENTERTAINMENT! Seriously, nobody is that good, they can't be, it's just not possible, not even Shawn Michaels or Chris Jericho is that good on the mic, but no The Rock is THAT good. By the end of that incredible promo I was wondering whether it was really a good idea to bring him back, I mean it makes the current wrestlers look so poor on at doing promos that they just won't be taken seriously. I'm not saying they are poor, I mean John Cena is good at promos, so is the Miz, Wade Barrett, CM Punk and Randy Orton but none of them compare to Mr Dwayne Johnson himself. Nobody ever will.
I must have watched that 20 minutes of brilliance about 5 times by now, I have also gone to my The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment DVD to watch the special feature Rock promos on it. Every promo has so much intensity, so much force and the fact that after 20 minutes of talking he's in a sweat it shows how much he puts into it.
Does anyone actually remember what else happened on Raw this week?
Now to something other than The Rock. The controversial 2/21/11 cut-scenes, I personally do not believe Sting will be showing up in the WWE on Monday Night but I do think Triple H will be. This is my personal opinion, I may be completely wrong.
The most recent 2/21/11 clearly shows the Undertaker doesn't it? Or does it? I paused it on where it shows the mans chest and chin and to me - maybe i'm looking to much into it - but it looks a hell of a lot like Triple H, the chest looks to big and rounded for Taker and the hair looks more like HHH than Undertaker as well. So my guessing is Triple H is going to show up as Taker, claim he wants to face him at Wrestlemania and we go from there. However, I could be COMPLETELY wrong.
There have been rumors the match at Wrestlemania is going to be Undertaker Vs Triple H - Streak Vs Career. God I hope that is not true, I really do not want to see Triple H retire. However much WWE want to move on with the younger generation, the WWE without Triple H would just not be the same. Although if that is the way it's going to go, I would love to see Triple H and The Rock have a little exchange of words before he goes, just one last time.
I also hope The Rock sticks around like he says he will. Is a few more matches too much to ask? I hope the live crowds adore him so much he cannot stay away!
Tonight is the Elimination Chamber, my guessing is John Cena wins the Raw Elimination Chamber and Dolph Ziggler causes some sort of interference in the Smackdown one. We will have to wait and see.
So till next time, I'm out.
